A handheld Microneedling pen that contains tiny micro-needles is passed over the skin creating tiny micro-wounds, or channels, in the skin. During the body’s natural wound-healing process of these channels, collagen and elastin are produced. PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) is derived from an individual’s own blood and contains highly concentrated amounts of natural growth factors and other cytokines (small proteins that are important in cell signaling) that promote the regeneration process of soft tissues.
